Students who complete an HND (with the requisite subject profile) may transfer onto the final year of an Honours degree or onto professional qualifications.

Course Content

Pathway Subjects: Financial Systems and Auditing, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Management Accounting.

Professional Accreditation and Exemptions

The HND in Business and Finance is recognised by all the Accountancy and Financial professional bodies. Currently a student can gain 4 exemptions from the ACCA.

Career Prospects

Whilst the HNDs are designed specifically for students to progress onto degree programmes, if a student would prefer at this stage to enter the work place, then many employees would have positions in their companies for HND Graduates on the basis that they would continue their educational pathway on a part-time programme this is particularly relevant in the financial industry.
