COLLEGE SERVICES & FACILITIES

The college provides the following services for students:

Counselling
As mentioned, a professional counsellor is available to you if you experience particular personal difficulties.  The service is completely confidential.  Students can make an appointment by contacting the counsellor directly.  Where the problem is likely to impact on academic performance, students are advised to notify a member of the faculty or student services staff.  Details of the nature of the problem will not be sought.  To assist confidentiality, the counselling sessions usually take place off campus.

Students with Special Needs
Students with special needs are requested to disclose the nature of their needs at the beginning of the academic year, and, where appropriate, to provide supporting documentation.  Where possible, the college will establish appropriate alternative arrangements, either to access classes or in the assessment of coursework and examinations.  As external approval may be required, late notification may result in the college being unable to accommodate certain special needs.  All records will be treated in strict confidence.
